Hello students, I am absent this week so your instructions are all below. Find your year level and read what you should do. However, before you do that, read my first post whilst in London, and answer the question at the bottom of the post:- I need you to tell the Londoners what you can see, smell and hear back at home so they can ‘feel’ the huge contrast. Write it as a post, copy your post and paste it back as a comment to this post. Look forward to hearing from you all.

Year 4/5

Year 7

• complete your post on “Why students should blog!” Goto www.befunky.com and cartoonize your photo, save and “add to social page”>grab code>goto blog>post>click on code tab and paste code.
• finish your year 7 camp photostory and follow instructions at the bottom of this page to upload into your blog.
• finish your grandparents day powerpoint>save as 2003-2007 version. Goto www. slideshare.net and browse for the file>upload>publish Grab the wordpress code>copy>paste in the visual section of your blog post.
• Using either photostory or moviemaker, make a movie of the current year seven students by adding the id photos from the student public drive, add the first name, transitions, motion, music etc Make into a movie.

Year 8

• The leadership team at school is wanting to stop students having a blog. Instead  you are to use a pen and exercise books for all your work. Write a post on “why students should blog” with at least 5-10 reasons, so that we can get our blogs back.
• goto www.befunky.com >cartoonize your photo>find your current school photo and change it completely.
• Make a movie using MS Photostory or Sony Vegas Movie Studio or MS Moviemaker of your year level, using the inidivual photos taken by the school photographer. Add the first name only of students, transitions, desired effects and make into a movie following the instructions below.

Year 6

Vegas Movie Studio - make a movie?

·         Goto file>make movie>next>save to hard drive>browse and save in your folder>format = mpg1>Pal DV>click next>it will make movie

·         Goto file>make movie>email it>save in folder>let it choose the options (they are okay)>say yes to continue when it is too big for email servers>it makes movie

·         Goto your blog>write a new post>goto browse>find email movie>upload

How to put Photostory onto your blog!

1.      Save your story for playback on your computer>browse for your folder>name the file and go next

2.      Save again as send story in an email message>click on settings>choose profile for email 2(240 x 180) It may save in my documents>my videos (if you cannot find it)

3.      Once complete, goto your blog>write a post>Put a heading>goto browse>find your video>upload>send to editor
