Hi, I am Anne Mirtschin, a teacher in a small P-12 rural school in the Western District of country Victoria, in south eastern Australian. I teach Informaiton Technology to grades 4 - 12 and accounting. Web 2.0 has become a passion of mine and I love this journey I have taken with my classes. Hope you enjoy sharing it with me!
2007 was very much a learning year of experimentation. 2008 will be similar no doubt, but I hope to consolidate the lessons learnt from last year to create a rich learning environment for my students where they can connect with local, national and global communities.
Podcasting has been a favourite web 2.0 application and we can be found at www.murch.podomatic.com or we are technokids in iTunes. Our digital stories can be seen by a search for murch in teachertube.
Students have now, in 2008, commenced individual blogs. Their blogs can be read by scrolling down and selecting the appropriate year level links. Other global blogger links can also be found.
I maintain two other major blogs www.murcha.wordpress.com and www.backyard.globalstudent.org.au
My wiki with lots of resources can be found at www.ejourneys.wikispaces.com

Keep up your great work!

Dear Anne,
Since last Monday and Will’s presentation, I have managed to set up a blog, but there is so much to learn. It was great to see you picture on globalteachers. Hope the visit to Coburg Senior Secondary went well. This is all very exciting and confusing,
