Talking to Ally

November 8, 2009 · 7 Comments

Last week, year 11 accounting students were privileged to speak with Ally through discoverE, virtual classroom software. Ally is a first year business studies student from a university in Saskatchewan, Canada. For one of her subjects she is under the tutelage of Dean Shareski.

Students were more interested in listening about Ally, herself, and time did not allow us to discuss  the accounting subject that she is studying.

  1. I need your feedback please on this activity. Can you add as a comment below?
  2. Please go to Ally’s blog  and thank her for talking to you. See if you can find a post on this activity with you.
  3. Write a brief post on your blog, linking to Ally’s blog, discussing some highlights and constraints.

Again, I need to thank Lorraine Leo for connecting us.

I enjoyed talking to Ally, i think that it was great to be able to learn how they do things in Canada and compare the differences to the way things are done in Australia. We leart a lot from our chat and i would definatly do it again.
