Saiful Falah visits us from Bogor, Indonesia

August 18, 2008 · 38 Comments

G’day Australians, I’m Saiful from Bogor Indonesia. It’s pleasure for me to be here meeting with many kind persons in Melboune and Warrnambool. But the most exiciting one is being around the marvellous persons in Hawkesdale. I like the school, I like the students, I like the teachers. Mr. Bruce and Mrs. Anne whom I stay with Really amazing, they are like my own family. I have a great time in their house, Mrs. Ane took me around the town, while Mr. Bruce took me around his farm. I also will never forget Mr. Peter and Mrs. Jane, they are really great. We went to the Moyne river together where I saw a very beautiful view. Being here in Australia is a dream for me but it’s true. So I hope sometimes will come to this wonderful country.

    Hello Saiful
welcome to Australia. You are very lucky to have such wonderful hosts. I wonder how you are coping with the cold? I think for many of us we have found the cold really uncomfortable so I can only imagine how you are coping with it. What have you enjoyed about Australia so far? I wonder how different it is to where you live?
We have some students who are going on a trip to Indonesia with their teacher tomorrow. They are very excited about going.

Saiful, we have loved having you stay with us. It has been wonderful having you in our school and the students have learnt so much about your school, your country and your religion. We hope that we can continue the connections and communication once you return to school. Thanks for visiting and all the best for your return home.

Hello Saiful, it was a delight having you in our school. You had a delightful sense of humour and were able to laugh with us over some of our language misunderstandings. Thank you for visiting and thank you for your very generous nature and your willingness to answer all of our questions. Your country sounds lovely and we were privelaged to have you spend time with us. Please say hello to your lovely wife and darling little daughter Nada. We look forward to hearing from you again soon.
